Overview
As the lead brand designer for Katacult, a prominent online media and ticketing platform in Ukraine, I spearheaded the development of a vibrant and cohesive brand identity. Katacult specializes in promoting and selling tickets for a diverse array of events, including concerts, parties, and cultural gatherings, aiming to become the go-to hub for Ukraine's dynamic event landscape.
Design Approach
🔹 Strategic Naming & Identity – The name "Katacult" merges "kata," a term from traditional Eastern martial arts symbolizing rhythmic movement akin to dance, with "cult," reflecting a dedication to music and communal experiences.
🔹 Vivid Visual Language – Employed a bold color palette dominated by orange and black stripes, creating a striking and memorable visual presence.
🔹 Minimalistic Symbolism – Designed a minimalist logo resembling a cross, symbolizing the unifying power of music and events.
