PROJECT INFO
As the lead UI/UX designer for OPUS, my goal was to craft an intuitive staking experience that balances complexity and usability. OPUS, built by Chorus One, enables seamless non-custodial staking for Ethereum developers and end users with a focus on institutional staking.
Design Process
🔹 Research & Discovery – Conducted user interviews with developers and validators to identify friction points in existing staking solutions. The focus was on clarity, transparency, and accessibility.
🔹 Wireframing & UX Strategy – Designed a component-based system with progressive disclosure, ensuring both beginners and experts find value. Iterated on staking flows to simplify complex interactions.
🔹 Visual Design & Prototyping – Developed a sleek, dark-mode-first UI with real-time dashboards, clear data visualization, and micro-interactions to enhance feedback loops.
🔹 Testing & Implementation – Conducted usability tests with early adopters, refining onboarding and staking workflows. Worked closely with engineers to ensure smooth handoff and pixel-perfect execution.
